Water Pressure in 1988 Bailey Pageant.

hi there, a friend has purchased a 1988 Bailey Pageant majestic, however the water pressure thru the taps both kitchen and washroom is very poor both hot and cold. we know the van well as it was purchsed thru a family member of mine. my relative had a similar problem last year and thinking it could be fixed bought a new submersible pump, he got the larger 921? model, replacing the old smaller 821?(i think these model numbers are correct)after advice from his local dealer. however he only used the van twice since fitting it so never realy got to try it out properly. anyway is there any reason why pressure should be so sluggish almost just a trickle, i know caravans don't have great pressure and taps are slow, experience from my own caravan, but surely it should be a little better? is it just the age of the van and that piping was very thin?? or are we missing a vital clue somewhere? any comments appreciated!

Has it got a filter fitted that may be partialy blocked.

You could try descaling all the pipes in case of a build up of lime.

You could try disconnecting the pipes as close to the pump as possible and see if you get a good flow.

HTH.
