Water Pump Inlet - Cover

Hi,

We have a Crown Sceptre 5 berth 1997 and somehow on the way back from Devon this year 'lost' the cover that goes over the water pump inlet. The dealer where we bought the caravan is not too hopeful that he can get us another one.

Any ideas please?

Hi Alison,

I'm surprised at your dealer. If the cover is the one I think it is - rectangular about 5" x 2.5" then replacement covers are available in most caravan accessory shops. They come either in white or a sort of beige colour.

If it is the normal small rectangular cover that goes over the Carver type water inlet, you should be able buy one from any accessory shop. We lost the one on our 1997 ABI van last year, and easily found a replacement, although I think it cost something in the order of
 
Thank you Rob and Chrissie for your replies, sorry I haven't been back earlier. I got the impression that our dealer was not that concerned in helping us, shame - he must know we won't be back! I will be visiting a new dealer very soon and the accessory shop.
