Water pump over run problem?

After using the van this weekend (2004 Lunar Quasar 525) I had found a problem with the main water pump over running/staying on.

Sometimes it happens after using a tap other times it just randomly come on.

It run to the point it forces water to leak out of the "inlet" on the exterior of the caravan.

. I suspect it might something to do with the water pressure switch I found under the seating, but I am not sure how this should be adjusted to the correct pressure? Its a simple screw in/screw out adjustment??

Thanks in advance,

Peter

Turn the screw on top of the switch anti CW to allow the switch to operate earlier.

You may find you are having to adjust depending on the battery voltage (if not on hookup)

If it is a Wale unit you may be able to fit their IC (intelligent controller) to the back of the inlet socket and dispense with the pressure switch. They claim this is independent of battery voltage and with some back experience i would agree.
