As you don't tell us the make and model of your caravan, I cannot check, but I will make two assumptions based on what you have told us.
I assume your Shurflo pump is mounted inside the caravan and the fact you have mentioned a tank, I assume you have an on board tank in the caravan. In which case I doubt you would be able to connect a mains water connection directly to the caravan.
I certainly would not attempt it until you have concrete evidence your caravan is set up for it.
If you were to try and make a direct connection, you will most likely damage your water heater, and probably blow pipe joints and taps.
Sorry I see you have the Castelton Rosella. The answer is a definite NO.
