Weighbridge worries!

Went to a different (free) weighbridge today, which had been calibrated this morning!.
Weight of caravan had dropped by 80kg, after me removing everything heavy and not so heavy.
We are now 880kg against a max of 905kg.
Have to say, caravan tows much better....next stop Salisbury for a week!

Your message comes back to a message that I posted quite some time ago.I took our totally empty caravan to the local weighbridge and according to the ticket it was OVER the Maximum Laden weight already. The operator told me that the weighbridge was calibrated for heavy goods vehicles and could not cope with something as light as a caravan. Try telling that to the Police if they escort you to a weighbridge and the ticket says you are over weight.
