Whale Water Master Socket Leaking Internally

2018 Elddis Affinity 550, looking for a bit of advice, the whale water master easy slide freshwater inlet is leaking on the inside, the leak appears to be coming from the joint between the water outlet and the plate that the IC is screwed against, I have replaced the the complete inlet unit, the seals and also bought a new pump assembly and it is still dripping water onto the floor below the inlet, any idea how to cure this would be appreciated,

You can buy a seal kit, but you would probably be as well off changing the unit complete

have already replaced the complete unit and the the the seals using the service kit, whale told me the it could be the 12mm hose connector,, haven’t had a chance to try this yet but will update on the results.

We had a similar leak on a 2018 Elddis Avante dealer special. It only appeared when the van was on uneven ground so that the inlet side was marginally higher. Otherwise I presume it ran outwards and I didn’t notice. This fault was the last straw on a van that was riddled with faults. Took it to the dealer for its service; explained the fault in detail and how to replicate it. Was met with blank looks when I went to collect it and told there was no leak. I am not technical; but neither am I stupid, I know what running water looks like. I had had enough and traded the van in very shortly afterwards and swore that I would never darken that dealership’s door again.
So sorry, can’t tell you what the problem was but I seem to remember looking it up on you tube and finding a video. I do share your pain.

hi Mel same issues here and had to get Elddis involved to get the warranty work completed, move to a different dealership for habitation service, see if that bears any fruit,
