What sealant time use

Hi all,

Just replacing an external door retainer but was just wondering what sealant to use

As the retainer is likely to need replacing again at a later date just use some good quality silicone , squirt some into the holes where the screws go and a little on he mating plate.

If it is not screwed, Soudall Fixall is the best to use, but it will not come off easily in future.
