I have a Powrtouch mover fitted to my Bailey caravan and whist commencing manouvering into my drive on Sunday afternoon there was a clunk and the motor on one side was hanging by the cables. The motor had come adrift from the gearbox.After getting help from the neighbours managed to push the van up the slight incline and put in in a safe position.
I rang Powrwheel Limited at 8.30 Monday morning and spoke to a helpful man in the technical department who said
he would dispatch a new motor unit to my home and arrange a fitter to contact me when I had received the new motor. I explained that I was due to go off the following Friday and would appreciate it if he could arrange something by then. An hour later he rang and said he had contacted a fitter who had a motor in stock and would contact me in the next hour. True to his word Roger Sparrow contacted me and said he would be with me in half an hour.He arrived at 1pm and started work and by mid afternoon the job was complete.
The service I received was phenomenal and if anyone is thinking of which motor mover to fit to their van this must be the one to buy. 5 year parts and labour warranty and excellent back up from their base in Chrischurch, outstanding service.
