What to do around London?

Staying at Wyatts Covert again next week which we have done before when visiting London.

We usually spend most of our time in London itself visiting the museums, hamleys, etc with the children (8 & 5). This year I thought it would be nice to visit some places around the London area and wondered if anyone had any ideas. (have done legoland)

It would be great to hear of places you have visited and your thoughts (good or bad). Has anyone done the Wembley stadium tour? whatdid you think?

Many thanks

Mike

Hi,

Try Thorpe park (near M3), Chessington world of Adventures if they are your kids type of things. Windsor town is good and a boat tour up the Thames is good fun. Windsor town also has a mini size Big Wheel at the moment. Kew Gardens also worth a visit. Have fun.

Even within London there are many forgoten gems, have you been to the Tate Modern, Wobbly Bridge. A trip on the DLR to canary Wharf. Shopping wise there is Blue water or Lakeside.
