hi, i am thinking of changing my 2001 diesel rav 4 to a ford focus s-max. mainly because as a family car we need more room. I can get a deal on a one year old 1.8 zetec model, cant afford to go to the 2 litre, and there does not seem to be as many available 2nd hand. i wouldbe grateful if anyone could share any info they might have on this type of car or model. I tow a 1999 avondale spec. eddidion based on the dart.

Hi

We tow our Bailey Pageant Bretangue with a 2lt deisel S Max. Good tow car. We have 3 kids, plenty of room in the car, the additional 2 seats in the back are easy to use when needed. We carry our awning in the back of the car. Hubby uses the car for work, easy to drive, good on motorways and other roads. Comments on the S Max on this forum have been positive.
