whatam I missing

Hi Folks

As usual looking to book breakdaown and maybe personal insurance from CC.

Went online to look at prices, noticed a non member quote so, I thought I would see how that would cost against my members quote as you do to se your benefits..

Wrong no benefit at all. the price was exactly the same so why do CC bother with saying non member & members quote??

Has anyone any ideas...

Hello Smiley,

What ever any replies to your question will be pure conjecture. If you really want an accurate answer you'd better address your question to the CC.

Due to cookies the site would have recognised you as a member and you would have had the appropriate quote as a member. If you delete all the cookies from your PC then you may have a different quote. I don't think the CC do non member quotes anyway.

The answer is that non members get a quote but if they then ring to take the insurance they are told it is only available to members, it is a sales tactic.
