What's it called

What's the official name for the small beading strips which go along the bottom of a van clipped inside the aluminium channel?
I need to replace both sides on my ABI Yorkshire Rose as it looks like they have shrunk over the years🙂 It's
green at the moment so would really like to get the same.

I think every manufacturer has his own terminology. I've known them to be called filler strips, filler extrusions, filler mouldings and maybe one or two other names.

It is called Herzim Strip and comes in two widths and various colours.
You can get it here: http://www.leisureshopdirect.com/caravan/caravan_accessories/rubber_and_plastic_trim.aspx

To fit, remove all old strip, clean out the channel , cut the strip to length PLUS about 4 inches.
Place strip in a bucket of hot water to soften it then press into the cahnnel, get one edge in the channel first and the rest will follow as you run your thumb along the length.
Leave a couple of inches extending from each end until the strip has cooled as it will shrink.
Fit end caps and secure strip .

It will fit !
It goes into recessses top and bottom and bows outwards when in place.

It does not sit flat, its not meant to.

If you give them a ring and ask for a small sample to test for size they should drop you a bit in the post (may charge for postage though)
