Will be buying new 6 berth after new year. Motorhome show is in Glasgow beginning of February, so plan to do so there. What, do you think, is the best 6 berth out there, without spending over 45-50K

Thanks

Have a look at the Bailey Approach 760 a superb van for the money. Biggest plus point is all the crash testing they did during the design stage, IMHO some f the safest passenger seating around!

Hi - many will be on the heavier chassis, so check your licence for category C1 + E entitlement if you look at any over 3.5tonne GVW (MAM) Any 6 berth on a 3.5tonne chassis will severley restrict payload capacit, especially when all passengers onboard.

We have a Chausson Flash 03. It has been a great family 'van.
It is one of the smaller six birth overcab coachbuilt motorhomes, but still has everything we need and plenty of space for a family. The layout works really well for us all.
A great advantage of this 'van is that we can park it in a regualr parking space, if the rear overhang is over a verge. It also comes in at under 40K -new.
We bought our 'van at a motorhome show, nearly 5 years ago - having hired something similar first to be absolutely sure - and managed to negotiate a good price and lots of extras, all subject to a test drive.
Good luck with your quest...do post back how you get on at the Glasgow show and what you decide on!
