Wheel torque settings

Thanks again. I have a Kuga and it's hand book states 90 kgs and swift say 100 kgs, so 80 kgs sounds good to me.
Thanks again.

You need to understand that there are two limits. The caravan chassis through its hitch load has a maximum. The car via its towbar also has a maximum. Swift do not get involved with the loading onto the cars tow bar only the loading onto the caravan. Ford set the cars limit. So in your case the prevailing limit for the outfit is the cars 90kg.

We always like to have the caravan nose weight as close to the maximum figure i.e. 90kg if we had the same vehicle as the OP as it feels like a better tow. Our current caravan is rated for 150kg and we have the caravan nose weight at 145kg for a comfortable tow.

???? Are you talking about the OP nose weight or yours i e 90kg ?
What is your current car nose weight?
Sorry I don't understand!

Swift should have the 2015 manual on their website. I did try to access it, but it did not seem to be working at the moment. You need the year only as the manuals cover all models for the year.
