Sitting here in a thick jacket. Been in a freezing cold room all afternoon in a meeting. It must be my age, I've never felt the cold so much this winter.

The first lovely warm day of the year and I have been indoors relocating furniture waiting for a carpet to be laid tomorrow! Then I will have to tackle all the Spring cleaning! Ah well, I have decided to take time out with a chilled glass of wine and see what is happening in the world. Felling much better now!

Thanks Tina, will take your advice. However, I understand that Friday is going to be pouring down with rain - perhaps I will give it a go then after I've gotten drenched taking out Maisie my little terrier!

I know! I'm on strike next Tuesday so instead of standing on a cold picket line, I'm going to go to Marks and Spencer and buy some warm you know whats!! (Socks, gloves and a hat).
