We're off to Scotland in a couple of weeks - so bound to get all four seasons every day!
Our son has just come back from a week in Turkey where it was 43 degrees - you couldn't pay me to endure that heat.

I used to work outside when heat was in the forties. We would start work at about 6am and work until about 11am then start again at about 3pm until about 6pm. I was as brown as a berry and blended in quite well with the locals.
Apparently its our turn today. One day only I believe. Air temperature currently 18degC; polytunnel 35degC; house 25degC

We are near the Lleyn Peninsula and the drive along the A470 was a mix of showers and sun. It was nice enough to sit outside the Roadside Delight food trailer just north of Rhayader which has a large off road parking area. At present only 15 deg C but most importantly it is sunny with cracking views out to sea and across to Anglesey.

Stopping at Laurencekirk, Crieff and Dumfries this time so hopefully far enough east and south to avoid the worst of the midgies - given the wind strength this "summer" they shouldn't be a problem.

At least once a year we stay at Pembridge and the take a drive to Rhayader and visit Elan Valley. Nice area.
With the record behaviour of the water companies it's been renamed Elsan Valley.😉

Been nice for a couple of days in Nth Devon.
Went kayaking upstream in the Torridge Estuary today just past the shipyard the water went decidedly brown so I turned and went back to Appledore.
Looks good for tomorrow 🌞
