I bought a generation 1 Sorento to replace a very woeful three year old Discovery 2. I considered a Shogun and Sorento. What swung it was that Kia gave 10 year warranty and 100k miles in the US and Canada. In U.K. it was only 3 years 50k but I thought if Kia has such confidence in there cars they must be okay. We did 70 k miles without a problem and towed in France mountains and Med without any concerns. Probably our best car ever. So when the time came to replace our 12 year old Note we decided again on a Kia. Hope you enjoy the new car.
