Which Glue?

Presently rectifying the damp in my caravan but I am stuck on one question.

Which type of glue/adhesive do I use to stick the polystyrene insulation to the ali body then subsequently the wall board to the polystyrene?

Thought it must be a liquid type as the cartridge type wouldn't be able to spread thin enough.

Any idea's would be appreciated thanks.

Just been having a search round & watered down PVA seems to be the stuff to use, paint it on the wall & the polystyrene wait a while till it gets tacky, then put together, ????

Do you think as its water based this may cause a problem with the differing temps in the van, or will it not be affected once it has dried? Just a thought and thanks for you help.

the glue most repairers use is a 2 part adhesive manufactured by Apollo

Just e-mailed them and they were very helpful.

But they are wholesalers and dont supply to the public, but they are sending me alist of my nearest stockist.

The best glue to use is evogrip it is solvent free so will not melt polystrene, bq sell it 3.95 a tube fits standard mastic gun.I have just used it to repair damp walls in my van.
