Which Vauxhall?

Hello,
Am looking for some advice from forum members please. We currently tow our Abi monza with our trusty Vauxhall Astra 1.4 litre petrol. When fully laden the caravan weighs no more than 875kg making it a good match. I know it;s not the best of towcars and we do get some funny looks, but it does the job.
However, it's not such a spring chicken, and being 17 years old is not going to last us forever so are looking to upgrade the car at some point. having had this for 5 years i seem to like Vauxhall's and would like another. maybe a zafira or similar.
We would also like to upgrade the caravan at some point, so would like it to be capable of towing at least a lightweight 2 berth.
Thanks
Andrea

Depends which vauxhall you fancy really.Astra upwards should be up to the job, possibly a diesel version would make life just that easier. The newer vectra's with the 1.9 diesel engine are quite exceptional value, and the estates are huge, but a astra should suffice and they also come in estate version if you want that extra bit of carrying space.
