The problem we had with the site was purely the attitude of the owners/warden. The site it self was lovely. When we got to the site we were told that we would be shown to our pitch. We were not allowed to reverse on and instaed had to push it onto the pitch, this was done but there wasnt enough room for our awning but they refused to move the caravan even tough the pitch next to us was family. As a result our awning was down a ditch all wekend and one side couldnt be pegged down. The owners spent all day evry day cycling around the pitch watching you. It felt very much like a prisOn. we were told off for parking our car next to the caravan and was told to Park it in the car park, although there was no spaces. Told off for the position of our barbecvue, then on the finaL day wouldnt let my son put the rubbish in the bin and told him to go through it and sort out any recycling-although there was no signs to say they had this facility. When i told him we wouldnt go through a bin bag he told me to take the rubbish home. Funnily enough when i later took the rubbish nothing was said, but he was making other peole do this. It is a shame as it was a lovely site, but for the life of me cannot understand why you want want to have a caravan site, if this is how you are going to be with the public. We have been caravanning for 9 years and the other 2 families we were with for over 30 and we have never had problems like this before.
