why the difference, galaxy/sharon?

looking for the tow wieghts on the galaxy, and found that they

are lower than the seat or vw.

Is there a reason why, or has whatcar got it wrong...

Depends what engine variant you are comparing but the maxium for all 3 (Galaxy/Sharan/Alhambra) is always 2000kg.

sorry not true any more, ford is a new car, so rules change on tow weight limit is now around 1700 for top range diesel

hi, nose weights on galaxy is only 75 and the alhambra and sharan is 85. also the seat alhambra se model is the same as the sharan sport model and cheaper.

thhe new ford galaxy is fords own vehicle designed and built by them,the previous galaxy was built by VW with costs of developement shared between vw seat and ford each was then built with features from each manufacturer eg fords heated windscreen,vw child seats.The seat version has chiller glovebox and folding wing mirror options,thats way the parts are all vw part numbers on the previous galaxy
