window seals

Hello
Just about to replace the window seals on the front of my Elddis . Got everything ready , just not the weather . Anyway the seals i have brought have the sealant already inside the edge of the rubber. I am thinking of putting an extra bead of non setting bedding sealant, with a mastic gun, on to the sealant strip already in the rubber. Is this ok, just looks a bit meager at the moment ,and want to make sure i have made a good seal, as once you put the seal on , you won't be able to tell 100%. Question is ,can anyone advise me, or foresee any problems

Do not put any more mastic inside the window rubber, it will not adhere to the mastic already in there and it will cause the rubber to not seat correctly.

Thanks for tip, new seals fitted now ,only problem was that i thought it would be clever to use a seal with a 13mm bubble, original must have been 10mm . Difficult to close, bit of a strain on clasps.
