Windows not sealing

Just come back from a lovely long weekend staying at Normanhurst Court in East Sussex (thoroughly recomended) Was pottering around doing the odd job after the winter store and noticed on a few of the windows they don't seal against the rubbers. It's only at the bottom, mainly the corners. Has this happened to anyone else? If so is there a fix? Thanks.

It could be that the windows have dropped from the hinge slightly. Have a look to see that they are fully home in the hinge. If not, you may need to remove the windows to fix them.

What kind of windows? does the window come in if you pull on it?

The inner catches are adjustable/ reversable have a look at those.

You can pull the bottom of the window to meet the rubber. I didn't know the catches are adjustable. I'll have a look. Thanks.

What van do you have.I had a 2008 Bailey Ranger and the corners of most of the windows didn't contact the rubber seal.

It was most problematic on the massive front window which leaked.

The gap between the window and the moulded panel was slightly wider on one side - run your finger down the edge. Essentially the window wasn't lined up with the frame properly. Dealer resolved by fitting a new window rubber with a bigger 'double' profile. After a while though the window started digging in and cutting a grove into the corner of the front panel.

I've since moved away from Bailey's having had two leakers due to build quality issues.

I have a 2003 Bailey Pageant. It's not all the windows some seal perfectly. The worst ones are the front middle and the bathroom ones.

Managed to get this problem sorted today. It was as simple as repositioning the catches to pull the window onto the rubbers. All windows nicely sealed 🙂 ready for our next trip in a week's time.
