The 'steam' is probably condensation caused by the van being in the cold all winter and now getting heat from use. This should disappear of its own accord as the van warms up. However there are also some little plugs in each window which, if you remove will alllow air to circulate and clear the condensation.

Hi, Thanks for the advise, do i just remove the plugs and let it breath?

It look like the inner and out have touched in the middle.

Hi Richard,

I had this on my van, the main window had a patch the size of a football in the middle of it, when i spoke to the dealer he said that when they install the windows they can touch which causes the condensation, therefore unfortunately mine had to go in for a replacement window...

As per Scotch Lad try teh plugs first, if it persists then speak to the dealer.

Cheers

Rob.

It sounds like your problem may not have been condensation, but rather the known problem with the 2007/09 Polyplastic windows where the 2 panes touch due to pressure on the window while being towed.

Just arrived back from our first outing of the year in our 2008 Elddis Odyssey and while away noted that when the sun was on the side and back "Seitz" flush fitting windows they missed up in patches which went away when the sun went down. These windows do not seem to have plugs like on my old van. I have taken photos and intent to talk to my dealer on Tues.

The front windows are conventional polyplastic which were OK but they didn't get the sun and I've a vague reculation that I did get the occasional patch last year on them.

Would I be right in hoping that this would be covered by the 3 year warrenty?
