Winter awning - good options?

Still not found our ideal first caravan but been looking at the other winter kit we know will need - a decent porch awning looks like a really useful thing, somewhere for all our wet gear after a days walking. Could even use it autumn / spring in the evenings.

Viewed and liked the Isabella Winter Porch - which can be had with an extra reinforced set of frame tubes, it seems ideal, but is only 220 x 180cm

Seen Dorema Oslo / Mistral online but don't know how if the frame is as robust as Isabella - assuming snow is the main culprit for damaging these more than heavy rain?

Wondering what other folks recommend / use?

I assume we can get insulated ground sheet and carpet almost anywhere?

I would not worry about whether it is a winter awning of not and most good quality awnings can be used through the year. Over the years our Isabella, Bradcot and Dorema porch awnings saw us through some harsh winters with no issue. Obviously we never had them all at the same time. LOL!

The main feature of a winter awning is usually extra poles to support the roof that may be subject to heavy snow - so depends where the winter use is - some awnings have the poles available as accesserories to convert a "summer" awning into a winter one.

I would think that the above applies to a full awning rather than a porch awning?

I would look around at 2nd hand site's gumtree etc. The awning I'm currently using now cost me £60 a year ago and it is minted. You don't need to spend a fortune.
