Well that's the Lunar nearly all ready for hibernation, water lines all blown out, soft furnishings all lifted up, fridge all cleaned out and door left ajar, cassette stripped down and in shed, just need to remove battery. Have you done yours 🤔

If it looks like an explosion in a furniture shop you should be okay.

For the couple of months we don’t use ours I take the cassette out and give an annual clean, lubricate seals and leave the flap open to allow the seals to rejuvenate

I take the battery out because is easier to periodically top it up in my shed rather than having to get the hook up lead out.

I also have wheel covers to keep some of the wet weather out.

Working with caravans and motorhomes/campers 2/3 days a week I haven't got round to mine which is in storage ( I think I have opened the drain tap but not sure) . I have 260W of solar on the roof , so battery will stay in caravan all winter. When I eventually get to it I will spray ' the big cheese' mouse repellent at all the gas drops and air vents. Last year the issue was birds/ducks sitting under the van on the steadys , leaving their muck all over the steady legs ugh! ( so the steadies might also get 'a spray' this winter.

Beachball ‘s is on a seasonal and there are the usual restrictions about full year occupancy. Back in January , height of the winter is pretty much all year round in my book😉
We are allowed to check the caravan on the Sunday 4th January so we have booked a couple of nights in Southport the seaon does not open until March 2026

You will likely have all the ingredients in your food cupboard to make your own. Garlic, paprika, mint etc. cheaper than shop bought ready made stuff. Check out you-tube for countless recipes.
