Woodlands caravan park

I'm looking at going to Woodlands caravan park at Llanon. This is a village situated between Aberaeron and Aberystwyth in mid wales.

Looks tempting with the beach only 250 yards away but it has no web site dispite being an AA 3 penant site.

Information would be useful.

Many thanks. Steve.

Have been going to this site for decades!

Yes the beach is close but is pebbles not sand, although if you have kids it is great for rock-pooling.

There is a sometime slipway there if you have a boat (father in law used to launch from here and go to New Quay where we would meet him in the car).

Site is basic but clean and not overly cramped, owner Ian Lampert is a bit of a character, and you can walk to the village for basic provisions (there is a small site shop) and pubs and chippy also in the village.
