Your Royal Highness.
The old Sorento can take it.
We can have 36 pint kegs or 72 pints or whatever we want. The smallest cask is 5 litres. That won't go far!!
Both beers are excellent taste and max 4.3%.
My shout.
Please give me an idea on quantity.

Sir Dusty....2 x 72 pints please :woohoo:

On a serious note why dont you just bring 2 x 5 litres being one of each as others will bring some any way.
Mags has locked up the homebrew until the fest :( :( :(
I realise home brew is not to everyones taste so i will bring some proper stuff as well. ;)
In any case if we run out we can always pop to the supermarket, ;)

modern technology - auto complete words?

.........too much modern technology   !!

I'm with Kevin.........one wife is enough ;)

DFDS ferries provide a mobile phone service although it incurs mobile roaming charges.........they also provide free wifi and both must connect via satellite somehow

Still trying to get my head around the fact they they have live TV ........when you consider the movement of the ship then that must be some fancy automatic tracking satellite dish :eek:hmy:

Had an excellent guided tour of Anita's site by the on site Warden Zoe.
A well stocked shop and friendly staff.
We have the Rally field plus two adjacent pitches all to the Woosies. EHU. And next door toilets and wash up area.
A small but well tended site.

If approaching from Banbury or M40 do not turn left for Mollington as advised by your sat nav. Carry on for 500yards and then turn left into Anita's.
STOP at the Stop sign. The reception is 30 yards ahead and the entrance to the touring area is on your right via code pass gate. Check in they will direct you to your pitch. Loads of room for all of us and the Gazebos. I'm bringing two.3m X 3m. With sides.
Forget the local pub.Weird.The Red Lion and Brazenose Inn Cropedy were okay but Greasy Spoon food. No where for a Woosiefest. Anita's are fine with us having the fest on site etc.
Tesco Banbury diesel 114.9 today. Cheapest I've seen in a while.

Good scouting mission DD :cheer:
The site seems promising and with warm clothing and a couple of lanterns theWoosiefest should be a great success.
I've got an led rechargeable lantern that is quite bright and I daresay that there will be others. I think I'll dig the old lightpole out for this one.

DD - you say 'rally field'. That sounds like the pitches are grass and not hardstanding and not serviced like we were originally told.

Hi WC
I questioned the serviced pitch thing. They don't have any :(
There are hardstandings but not enough together. Also they seemed rather close to one another being part hardstanding and part grass. So your awning would still be on grass and most of them slope.
Lady Villa questioned the "boggyness "of the grass rally field. We were assured it was well drained and it is level with hook ups and plenty of room for the gazebos. In fairness we would struggle to get together for a party anywhere else on site. We also have our our own dedicated toilet only block adjacent to the field. The main shower block is a 60 second walk away.
Here's my letter to them. Clearly states "hardstandings".
Do you want me to cancel and find somewhere else

Dear Anita
Woosiefest 1st / 2nd October 2015
Our telephone conversation this morning refers. There will be 12 to 14 caravans attending all for a minimum of 4 nights I hope.
I and my wife Terri will arrive on Thursday 24th September and depart on Wednesday 7th October 2015. We have two very well behaved Springer Spaniels.
Please will you ensure I get a hardstanding with room for a porch awning and if possible a clear view to the South East for our satellite dish. Oh the comforts of home!!
I attach my cheque for £5.00 deposit as agreed
Hopefully you will be able to give me a steer on a pub room for our Woosiefest in due course.

I look forward to seeing you in September.

Best wishes
Yours sincerely

I think it sounds great. More like a Rally than just being on a caravan park together. Especially liking the communal gazebo plan. I'm sure it will be fine. Let's stick with it.
