How many miles has it done Bill? ---- PS. We've done just under a thousand since last mot due later this month, 'cheap caravanning!'
Our faithful Nissan Terrano tow car owned 20 years from new as of today
Delivered to us with 8 miles on the clock.....but built in Spain, exported to Cyprus and then imported from there to the UK.... giving us a new car for 25% discount on a UK dealer purchase price!
Only done 1700 miles since last March and now sat there in the garage wondering where the good times have gone
Like everyone who has a car and van we are hoping that we will soon be taking them out of mothballs and back to what we all enjoy...............seeing different sights and socialising with other people. Hopefully the end is in sight where we will be back to 'normal'

Ha! When we are all let back out, we will return to the good old British Tradition of queues, tailbacks, and traffic at a standstill.Hopefully soon be back trundling up and down the motorways.
Ha! Thats where I am at an advantage, all the tourists come down to this part of the country whilst I go up, they get stuck getting in, I drive out, I come back they go back up,Ha! Hi Lady Mel The experience of travelling for us is better enjoyed during the week or weekends, away from the bank holiday and school holiday traffic. We have reached the time in our lives when we can be flexible in our travels and enjoy this so the stress is much less at quieter times and the holidays more relaxing.Ha! We're retired so can travel when we want but find Sundays a good day to travel - much less HGV traffic and avoids the Saturday "changeover" in self-catering accommodation.Hi Lady Mel The experience of travelling for us is better enjoyed during the week or weekends, away from the bank holiday and school holiday traffic. I am in agreement we also used Sundays if we are going a long way because of HGV traffic .We're retired so can travel when we want but find Sundays a good day to travel - much less HGV traffic and avoids the Saturday "changeover" in self-catering accommodation.
it just depend when it is we are away in September down in Torquay that leaves August for us .Dear Woosies, I have been scouring sites for us in the anticipation that we might be able to get a Woosiefest in , for at least a weekend, around end of August or September. Hopefully between myself and Lady Bacchus, we have found a few possible new sites, but I am also looking at previous known good past sites, but not the Mudfest, at Stratford on Avon. .
I am looking for sites with fully serviced pitches as over the last few years that has been requested, Dog friendly and children friendly, for the sake of nippers and grand kids, or if GafferBill brings his lovely daughter along again.
For others that have not been to a Woosiefest. I don't know if its a rally as I have never been to one, you just do your own thing, and put a name to a face, We do keep Dusty Dog, muzzled, last year by a beard, we just try to have a meal on a Saturday night , in a local pub, to hand over the Crown to the New King or Queen. And a get together Sunday for a Jacobs Table, .
At present, Its going to be mid country , And depending on numbers I can thin it down to sites.
For the the sake of possible numbers, could you just say a willing yes or maybe to a fest.
As youkow your not committed to anything.
Thanks Hutch.
Hi Pete l hope pubs and restaurant are open getting fed up with Macdonald but we do like a nice Chinese .If we (I) are still caravanning/fit enough we are certainly interested, providing distance not too great. (Afraid this last couple of years 'Father Time' has intervened and not been kind to this 'old f---!' ) If pubs/restaurants are not 'fully' opening by then, then shan't bother either. Yep we also like a 'Chinese takeaway' and we have one near enough and a chippy to walk to and fetch one. But we also like to 'socialise' over a meal with our friends and not been possible since last autumn, (and they're geriatrics too we've all been careful re mixing) But it is getting a bit 'galling' now -- how long do we wait? Or do we start to say 'stuff it' and get on with life again and take 'pot luck', Time is shortening anyway for alot of us, if we don't do it soon we shan't be doing it at all!Hi Pete l hope pubs and restaurant are open getting fed up with Macdonald but we do like a nice Chinese .
