Worktop extension

Hello all,

I'd like to add an extension flap to the worktop in my Abbey Vogue. Does anyone know of a hinge/stay which would lock in position when such a flap were raised? I seem to remember such an item on the forum some time ago but cannot find it again. Any suggestions would be welcome

We have couple of "couch trollies" in the house with flaps at each end about a foot or so long
They hinge up and lock with spring loaded stay like the top one in this link
