Just wondered, was out walking tonight and saw some really nice houses but not possible to keep a caravan there as the side of the houses were quite narrow.
We are looking for a new house because of that very reason. Love our house but its not got enough space around it. Loads at the back, but not enough at the sides.
I would not store the van at home at all or less you cud put it out of sit on the back so it would not give it a way that when your van is not there your home is empty.
You barmpot !!!did you go out walking after your cava?????
in a word NO I wouldnt. Can get my van on my drive but only ever have it a couple of days while loading/cleaning etc... if I could get it down the side I would leave it here, but just missing those few important inches!!!!!!
The short answer is No Say you lost 1m down the side by 10m length by 10m height that would by 100m square off your property, in monetary terms that's a hell of a lot of money or space.
A friend of mine dug a hole in his drive so that he could get his van under the carport but this would be a bit more extreme. I bet there are a few sad Bu**ers who would do it though (perhaps even on this forum). Jim
Keep my van on the front of the house. Dont like the lawn anyway and it allows me to work on the van, keep the battery topped up and makes it secure overnight as my car is parked right across it. Dont care if I lose the car. Want a new one anyway.
