We are looking at buying some land in Piemonte Northern Italy for a caravan Park, bed & Breakfast site.

I am interested to know if the people of this forum would use a site in Piemonte as a stopping of place on the way into Italy. We would be near the famous Barolo wine growing region.

Any feed back would be welcolme.

Regards

Peter

I have posted a question today on storing in Italy and would certainly use such a site as you suggest, and also would be very interested in storing if that were possible as I am sure other UK caravanners would be ,not only to use the site as a starting off/finishing point for exploring the Italian penninsula but sometimes just come and stay at a nice Italian site and unwind without travelling around absolutely every time.

It would save the long journey from the UK for those like myself who sometimes would like to explore further afield in Italy, but not face the long and gruelling trip from the UK each time.

This facility is much easier to find in France and a UK owned northern Italian site, would I am sure be very attractive to many UK caravanners, and you would have a unique market position. Unlike France/Spain there appear to be no British owners of Italian parks.

Best of luck with the project.

Would certainly consider it favourably if you arrange the pitches more to UK standards than italian in terms of space and access.
