Wrong car insurance!!

I have just received my new insurance quote and I noticed that although they had the car reg correct they had the car down as a Honda Civic, I have CRV. I then looked at my ins document and sure enough it was a Civic.

I know I should have checked but by the time you've answered 100 questions over the phone you expect it to be correct.

I wonder if the insurance company would have tried to wriggle out of paying if I'd had an accident.

I'm sure the mistake was that of the call centre obviously pressing the wrong key on their computer when giving me a quote.

I think the moral to this tail is check your insurance policy.
 
Sounds like a problem on there database as they go by reg these days that way they can share info more easily.

You are correct you should check all documents
