x trail new tug?

have gone off the mitsi pinin now liking this?05 plate 2.2 diesel

any comments?

having to give up my toyota avensis estate, which i love not sure about moving up to a 4x4,it will be too tall to put the kayak on top but could maybe tow it instead?& can i park the x trail at the supermarket?

Put the kayak in the caravan, via the front window - we have. Tip the water out first.

Xtrail is probably smaller than your Avensis, apart from height, so if you can manage the avensis you should be OK with the XT...

Go for it! I have an Xtrail 2.2dci SVE, 54 plate, and it is brilliant. Great visibility, fast and comfortable, 39mpg average, and 28mpg towing our 1600 kg van.

Note that the Xtrail is substantially heavier than the matching sites claim at 1515kg. I have weighed mine twice on different weighbridges and with no driver it weighs 1660kg (it does have Nissan side steps)with full fuel. That is why with 2 people aboard I am happy towing 1600kg max (nearer 1550kg in reality as we dont load van to limit).
