Yellowcraig CC site, North Berwick - Best pitching Area?

Hi there,

We are off to Yellowcriag CC for the 1st time, next week for a few days.

I have seen on here once before people recommending certain areas of the site better than others.

Can anyone advise me as to what these area's are, we are a family, but do prefer peace and quiet.

Have been on all the pitching areas at some point over the years and they all have their merits.

I would avoid E as thats where the play equipment is.

Apart from that have a wander when you arrive and choose what you like best.

There aren't many hard standings but the ground drains easily anyway.

We stayed at Yellowcraig in mid-April - me, hubby, two girls aged 8 and 4. We stayed on the hardstanding directly opposite the play area and next to the toilets and we never had any problems.

We thought it was a good site and will not hesitate to go back.
