Yellowed hatch surrounds

Just purchased a newer 2007 caravan. in all respects the van is in good condition for its year with one exception. the hatch surrounds have yellowed. has anyone had this problem and got around it!

Have you tried Sylky? It is a white paste that is excellent for that type of plastic. Bought mine at Go Outdoors but available at many dealers.
