My wife's looking at Kaplin xxl zero gravity chairs, £99 for 2, just wondered if anyone has these as looking for opinions &/ or recommendations, thanks.

We have Lafuma zero gravity and they have given excellent service plus spares are readily avaiable.

I agree 100%
But you don't get what you don't pay for ! Lafuma chairs are not cheap, but you can get all the various parts, and they certainly last.
Buy good, buy once.
Having said that zero gravity are very comfortable 👌

If they last well - why are parts needed - just asking!

Or are they like Trigger's broom?
Same as your car "lasts well" but you have to buy tyres every so often?

Here the elastic, as it always does ages. Plus like ours probably 20 years old the fabric is not in its first flush of youth, and more fastidious owner might like to replace.

Not really like Trigger's broom where none is original, here the frames are very likely to out last ownership.

Their downside, or at least the originals is they are very heavy, despite over the years the design being lightened quite a bit.

The only parts we have had to use are the rubber cords that give them their “give” . After a time they can perish. Two sets of cords since 2001 👍

Still the “ go to” chairs when we have bbqs at home.
