    Towcar Awards 2011

Just got my mag and reached the tow car awards. Very interested to see the Seat Alhambra listed as I have one on order since February but the delay is due to the Japanese earthquake (electronics). I have ordered the 170 engine which should give a better tug. I noticed that the photo showed a...

    Bailey Pegasus SII

I have just read the review, and noticed in the review of the bathroom that it has a clear glass window and the blind would have to be pulled to give some privacy. I mentioned this some years ago to Bailey staff as and was old it was to give additional light, my reply was that the firsdt thing...

Steel spare wheel with Alloy bolts

Ian I have posted a similar query regarding this subject on another site. A relative who has a Swift was supplied with separate bolts for the spare steel. As I have an Abbey I have queried this with my dealer and he knew nothing about spare bolts. Everyone appears to agree that you can use...

    bailey senator series 5

PaulT I have to say that we like the new door. The door fly screen on our ols senator was a pain to fasten accross and as we have a small dog who would push at the screen we didn't use it that much. We have found the new door much better. I must say that I am more than happy with my van so far...

Filling our Water Reservoir (or not!)

John My old Vermont(2000) has the same system. If you use the aquaroll that supplies the taps and the water doesn't go near the tank. I very rarely used my tank except during very cold weather. I used two aquarolls. There is a presure switch built into the back of the whale connection(inside...

Filling our Water Reservoir (or not!)

John Sorry for the dealy in getting back to you. I have to admit you've got me perplexed. How old is your van. My Senator had a Whale attachment to feed the taps from the aquarool and a filler cap with a two pin plug nearby that became live when the pump switch was moved to the internal pump. I...
