    Towing mirrors for Honda Cr-v

Thanks Ray. My husband had a look yesterday at our local dealer and found mirrors which fit beautifully and securely at a cost of £11 each.

    Towing mirrors for Honda Cr-v

Thanks xtrailman. We'll have a look at these too. Unfortunately we're near Aberdeen not Worksop but thanks for the offer.

    Towing mirrors for Honda Cr-v

Thanks, Ade. I had a look at them on the Towsure website and you're right that they're not cheap. In the grand scale of costs in caravanning it's not too bad. We like the Cr-v and chose it to replace our ageing Subaru Forrester after seeing lots of them on sites.

    Towing mirrors for Honda Cr-v

We recently changed our car to a Cr-v and our old mirrors don't fit. Can anyone recommend suitable towing mirrors? We've not towed with it yet but want to in the next month. Thanks.

Electrical Installation Condition Report - Necessary or not?

A big thankyou to all who responded. They confirm my thoughts. We shall NOT be going back to this company.

Electrical Installation Condition Report - Necessary or not?

We have a 2012 Bailey Orion. We have received a reminder about the annual service which is due in February. The body of the letter contains a paragraph about the above. It states that; "due to changes in legislation" the company must offer customers the opportunity to have the above EICR...

    Snow on CC sites

The site had a tractor with a snowplough and it's always been cleared when we've been there before.

    Snow on CC sites

We were staying on a snowy site last weekend and the roads on site were left uncleared. They became polished in places. It seems that the Caravan club no longer clear snow but rely on notices telling caravanners to be careful. I saw countless people slipping and sliding when trying...

    Reduced Pitch Prices C&CC

I got the e-mail about this too and thought "Let's have a few days away" but none of the selected sites are in Scotland so not much use to us. For short breaks we look for a maximum journey time of 2 to 3 hours which rules out anything south of the border.

Lake district which cc site would you recommend or CL

We used the C&CC Windermere site when we couldn't get a whole week in June at any suitable CC site (I need disabled shower facilities) owing to weekends being fully booked. It was great. It's halfway between Kendal and Windermere and very peaceful. There's even a pub on site which serves...

    Disabled Access and speed bumps

Thanks Bri, I found the mag and read the letter. It doesn't bode well for the future. Emmerson, Seasons Greetings to you and your good lady too. Your idea sounds great but somehow I think it will be too clever for the CC. Few people really appreciate the difficulties of using a wheelchair...

    Disabled Access and speed bumps

I'm not expecting a helpful reply from the CC but if no-one complains then they will assume that there isn't a problem. I must go and look for the CC mag and read the letter Bri mentions. I sometimes skim through it meaning to go back and read thoroughly later.

    Disabled Access and speed bumps

Thanks everyone for your input. Yes, we thought that taking the middle out of the bumps would be the answer but the warden we talked to said that when they did that then some motorists deviated to go through the space and then the other wheel went onto grass. In the past when I've asked for a...

    Disabled Access and speed bumps

Just this last week we stayed on one of our favourite CC sites. Since our last visit speed bumps have been installed and they are disastrous for me. I am disabled and need to use either a wheelchair or mobility scooter to get around on site. My scooter grounds on the top of the bumps and they...
