Andrew We have been going at October half term for the last few years and can't fault thr place, however we went at Easter this year and all I can say is that the facilities (normally very adequate) were struggling to cope with the number of people using them. I would avoid Easter al all costs.

Roger I have recently returned from Italy, bit futher south than Venice but still on the coast. I went Rotterdam (because its nearer than Dover) and went down through Germany, Austria and over the Brenner Pass (lowest pass over the Alps so good if you tow) You need a Vignette for Switzerland...

People who park in disabled spaces appall me to, I would never do it under any circumstances, however I am equally appalled by those abuse the system. For example my sister in law has had a disabled badge for 20 years and there is not a thing wrong with her.
