I have an Abbey 216 fitted with a quartz clock made by Hermle, it is oval in shape and the only battery that I can find that fits is A23 which is 12 volts. Is that correct - don't want to fit and burn-out the clock! -- John

Hi Phillip - I've found Humbrol to be very good, easy to apply, flows well and is hard wearing. Available from most model shops or ebay. Wait for warm weather! - John
Has anybody installed a Status aerial 530/5? What access is required inside the van to adjust it for optimum performance and are there any pitfalls to watch out for! Aerial Shack are selling it for £110, any where cheaper? Thanks for any help - John

Hi Dustydog - my reason for contacting the Caravan Club was that I feel that they should do more to draw members' attention to an obviously wide spread problem that poses a potential road accident risk. I did not expect recompense from them! - John
