    Caravan service

I can echo Sir Rogers comments (I also store at Welton Lodge) - John has dealt with a couple of jobs for me in the last twelve months and will get my servicing this year, he is really helpful, nothing seems too much trouble and he does a first class job. Regards Jon

    alko wheel clamps

There is an easy way to fit to a twin axle without jacking - simply lign up one wheel, fit the clamp to that wheel, then 'drag' the van until the other wheel lines up - in practise you are probably only moving the van an inch or two ! I mentioned this system to a caravan engineer - he reckons...

    Seniors Golf

Arthur is 90 years old. He's played golf every day since his retirement 25 years ago. One day he arrives home looking downcast. "That's it," he tells his wife. "I'm giving up golf. My eyesight has got so bad. Once I've hit the ball, I can't see where it went." His wife sympathizes. As...

    Lunar Lexon Shower Cubicle Split

Hi, We have a 2009 Lunar Delta TL and the side panel on the shower split horizontally in April - when I spoke with the dealer he said that they had had 4 x more the previous week - our shower has no screws it is a plain panel - I wondered if it was a stress crack caused possibly by the...

    Speed Guidelines

Surely the whole point of speed awareness courses should be to convince 'speeders' not to do it - my wife opted to go on one rather than take the alternative - she was doing 33 in a 30 limit (basically had failed to get her speed down quickly enough) - she really didn't need educating, however...

    Word verification

    Light Fingered B's

I am obviously too trusting - put the van back into storage on the 12th March - went to it yesterday to find that all four wheel covers have 'been removed' - the really annoying part is that when we put them on the wife said "someone will steal these" my reply was not here, we are all the same...

    some ********

What a low life - its not until you 'know' someone that has had this happen that it strikes home - if it had happened to one of mine I can't imagine how I would feel. We could all hit someone in an accident (it did hapen to me once many years ago - not my fault but still felt dreadful) - but...

    service

The variance in cost is phenomenal ! Sir Roger I think that I went to book my T/A into the dealer you mention (as I live in Daventry) - they quoted me £273.60 Last year at my supplying dealer they charged me £139 so even with fuel costs and travelling time this seemed like a no brainer -...

    Rear view camera. Under caravan?

Thanks Parksy - I thought that was exactly what I had done (obviously not) - people like me should not be allowed loose ner technology - pass the 4lb Lump Hammer !

Does anybody know if a caravan fitted by the manufactrurer with a tracking system as standard is less likely to be stolen?

I have a Phantom Tracker and get 10% discount off my insurance - so I save £56 a year and the tracker costs me £99 - not sure if this is such a good deal ! Deli Dave, I would have thought the Police would love this kind of thing - easy crime to solve and another tick against their targets !

    Rear view camera. Under caravan?

Don't know what I did wrong this time - copied and pasted HTML code it has always worked previously Dare I try again - no !

    Rear view camera. Under caravan?

Ray, I originally had my rearview camera looking out through the rear window - found I got lots of reflections and at night it was 'washed out' by the led's reflecting - have now used plastic card and double sided tape on the rear of the van - found I could run the cable throgh the rear window...

    Pyramid Corsican

We have had a Pyramid Corsican 1050 for two years - no major problems just a couple of niggles - I found it was really helpful to number the poles against the 'exploded' erection instructions (ours also came with a DVD showing how to put it together). One slight issue with it being 1050 long...
