    South of France Campsite

Managed to get a site day before we left Scotland it was L'Etoile d'Argens, in Frejus. Fantastic site and cannot reccomend it highly enough. Bit of a trek to get down there but well worth it. Sunshine everyday, great site, great facilities and a wonderful part of France.

Looking to stay around Frejus area, does anyone have any good suggestions for a campsite? We have 3 children aged 4 and 14 so need a site that has activities or at least a...

Lake Garda - Without booking ?

Looking to squeeze 10 days in lake Garda in the first two weeks of August this year. I've checked with a couple of campsites and most will not accept bookings for anything less that 2 weeks. Remote Scotland

Have you tried Applecros campsite - can't get much more remote and a real gem of a place. Campsite is basic but has hook ups/shop etc and is nice. Due to its location and the drive to get there you have to be pretty devoted to take a caravan, having to go round the coast via Sheildaig as opposed...

    ferry from rosyth

We have used this crossing about 4 times now over the years, travelling all over europe camping. Admittedley it is way more pricey than the shorter crossings down south but feel its a good start to the holidays especially if you're from the North of Scotland. The ferry is immaculate in every...

    Speed limits Information

As Clarkson and Co have proven if you go fast enough the Gatso will not detect you - that is if you and your van can reach 186mph+..... just a thought.
