For a change of scenery this year, I am thinking of going to Pencnwc Holiday Park near Newquay, Wales at Whitsun........I just wondered if anyone has stayed there recently......to get an idea of what its like there.

We went there two summers ago and found it to be a good site. We were on one of the super pitches so space was good but the rest of the site looked ok. Shower blocks were clean and tidy. If you like chinese food this is the site for you because it has a takeaway on site, and a cantonese...

My favourite site for many years has been Woollacombe Sands. All the pitches are on a terraced hillside overlooking the sea. Small shop and clubhouse on site. Briliiant shower blocks.

My personal favourite park in south Wales is Kiln Park at Tenby. Mainly because of proximity to beach and short walk into town. The park has one of the best shower blocks I have come across. It can be a very busy park though at peak times so book ahead.

So what kind of special training does it take to give this man the information he needs?? Its only a clerical job, how hard can it be to put his information in an envelope to him?? or let him know that they have to wait a few days but its on the way....Its the little things that mean a lot

There ought to be a law against newcommers starting out with a brand new van!! We have been caravanning for 10 years now and are still working up through ever newer and newer secondhand vans....... current one is 1987. Seriously though, I hope you have a lovely time and enjoy it to the full...
