    Bill, I think there is no fixed time, it depends on the temperature that it is. If its 5 Degrees and below or that your tyres are not suitable for the weather. If you get stopped its a 30 euro fine and if you are causing an obstruction due to tyres its 80 euros.

    I drive a S-Max 2.2TDCi and tow a Hobby 560KFMe getting aroud 24-25mpg on the Autobahns. Averaging 100Kmph and about 27 mpg in Italy, I think due to greater overtaking restrictions.

    Campsites in Germany.

    There is a Christmas market in Herford and 1 in Gutersloh (which is where I live) The one in Gutersloh is normally for 2 weeks finishing on Christmas eve. The one in Bielefeld runs after Christmas day until the 30th Dec usually.

    Parksy, As a Welshman Living in Germany, I really hope England win so that all these Germans stop beeping their Bl**dy horns all night when they win a game. That said I won't be too dishartend if Ze Germans win, that would mean more parties in the town.

    Great film on tv today

    They win 1 game, score 1 goal against a country with a population of 2 Million (London has 7.7 Million), now they are going to win the world cup. I don't think so!!!!!!!!!!!!

    In Germany we always fill up at the Car side. You may find the Diesel Lorry side with a Larger Nozzle. Europeans are a lot more considerate to caravns than the UK and give you a wide berth

    After serving 12 years of my 22 years in the Army in Germany, I can understand why German beer suits you, hic! Just drinking some now after the England game waiting for all the Noise later if Germany win.
