G Guest May 19, 2009 #2 Probably best to get it tested and see if any of the cells have failed. If so, then I would suspect it is a gonner. Batteries are usually pretty tough animals and will take a lot of abuse, but I do not know the age or the full circumstances.

G Guest May 19, 2009 #4 Unlikely, but there are many different types of chargers. If it will charge the 85 amp I cannot see why the 110 amp would be any different. It may just take longer. Sorry but a battery tester is probably the only way of telling.
