2 TV's in caravan ?

Thought I would ask just in case I mess up (not the first time) 🤔

Planning to take the grandchildren with me on a trip and am thinking about running two TV's (sometimes simultaneously).

The TV's will be powered off mains supply.

I have 2 aerial outlets in the caravan.

Any TV signaling or any other problems related to running both TV's?

we also run two TVs simultaneously without a prob , one for us on an evening and the kids have their's down at the bottom end of a van in their part , just check whereabouts the kids TV will go as you may need to buy an extension TV cable just to run round the back of the seats like what we do so that they can both see the telly from their bunks . You can buy 2 metre extension TV cable for about £1 or £2 in ASDA or any shopping outlet .

Not certain about caravan but we run three tv at home off of terrestrial digital and have a booster in the input cable before they split. Can watch individual channels simultaneously. So can’t see it would be problem in caravan. Noise reduction headphones might be useful though.

A valid point OC, plus I don't want to upset the neighbours 🙂

I plan to have headphones for the 'non kids' TV, I watch little or no TV when in the caravan but I might take another set of headphones should I decide to watch a DVD on the laptop.

Why not try something like this for the kids ? We had them when we first started out , a set of headphones and their own little DVD players and you didn't hear a peep out of them , ideal for travelling in the car to .....

When we take the grandkids to the caravan, (there is good wifi at the seasonal site) the little ....erhm..... darlings are glued to their tablets when in the van. The TV hardly gets turned on.

Fortunately that component (or very similar Vision Plus model) is already fitted to the caravan.

Good to know that it is a worthwhile device.

Craig Mel,

The kids have tablets and games consoles but if in addition they would like their own DVD players and top quality headphones then I have absolutely no objections (their parents can purchase them 😛 ).
