2002 xtrail 2ltr petrol

Before i bought my xtrail in 2004, i spoke to a woman who had a very nice 2l petrol xtrail.

I asked her what she thought about it, she told me " i love the car but its a bit underpowered, i wouldn't get the 2l again"
 
i bought a 2002 x trail 2 litre petrol with only 60,000 miles, i would advise any one thinking of a petrol to steer well clear go for the diesel. mine was very under powered and kept having the engine management light coming on. it was apparently a sensor on the exhaust system and nissan said it was fine, but then towing my 1300kg caravan up the m 1 the engine blew luckily it was still under warrenty so it didnt cost me. straight after i traded it in for the diesel which is a great vehicle
