2008 Ace Award Nightstar Clock Adjustment?????????????

Hi All,

This may seem daft but I would like to know how I change the time on the manual clock in the van above the front window, there seem's nothing obvious and have even took side panel off to gain access to the back of the clock with no success. Please help.

Ian.

Ian,

You will probably find it is like the clock in our Swift and the ones we had in the Bailey's.

If so you have to ease the whole clock out. If it is a tight fit i use a blunt knive. The one in our Swift is a very tight fit and it is a slow process getting it out.

Once out the back of the clock can be removed to replace the battery and adjust the time.

It then just pushes back in, making sure you have got it straight, otherwise you have to start all over again, as i know only too well!!

Hope this helps.

Hi Hamer,

Thanks for the great advice will give this a go. I did notice a wire going to the back of the clock which made me think it may run off the battery.

Hi Ian,

I hope the 'wire' is a piece of cotton because there shouldn't be one to see if it's anything like our Bailey.

It's just a push fit into the facia, ease it out and you can read the back for instructions.

I had the same problem on my Abbey gts. If you put your hand in the cupboard behind the clock you should feel a hole in the plywood that is located directly behind the clock. Put your finger in and push the clock out from behind. Easy. In fact so easy they don't bother to mention it in the handbook or any of the accompanying literature.
