Hi Graham, I've just been reading your post about your problem with the Kia Sportage. I have a similar problem with my 2009 sportage but its a manual. Basically when accelerating hard in 3rd and 4th gear at about 40-60 mph I get a vibration feeling coming through the floor and steering wheel as if the drive shafts are shaking. Had it looked at and had the prop shaft off to see if it was that but the shaking and vibration was still there so ruled out prop and rear wheel drive.
Any advise would be welcome as the mechanic I use has checked everything, mounts, bushes cv joints can not see any obvious problem. Cheers Shane
 
I must admit I missed this post from the start. I had a vibration on a vectra, which on a diagnostic reader stated that a faulty No 3 fuel injector was faulty causing the vibration.
But looking at Grahamh, last post it was tyre pressures. Interesting.
